Gamespot‘ta yer alanlara göre Gears of War’ın romanı yolda. Amazon UK ve Wal-Mart’ın listesinde ortaya çıkan kitabın adı Gears of War: The Pendulum Wars-The Battle of Aspho Fields geçiyor. Kitap Steve L. Kent tarafından yazılıyor. L. Kent daha önce bilim-kurgu romanları ve strateji rehberleri yazmıştı.
